PACKAGING, SHIPPING AND RETURNS POLICY

 

​PACKAGING

 

  1. All Econo orders are packaged, packed and dispatched by us, here in South Australia.

  2. Our packaging is environmentally friendly and ethically/locally sourced wherever possible.  We use either paper-based packing tape or BioGone, (www.biogone.com.au) biodegradable packing tape on our boxes.  Both varieties of packaging tape can go into your compost or organics/food waste bin or can be recycled with the box.  Our mailing boxes, packaging and inserts are also 100% compostable or recyclable.  Whilst our wax seals are hand-made here in South Australia from 100% natural ingredients, they have not been certified biodegradable and we therefor recommend that these be removed and sent to landfill.

 

SHIPPING

  1. At Econo, we strive to provide you with quick and efficient delivery of your order.  Our official dispatch time is 48hours (2 business days) from receipt, however most orders received before 2pm (business days) will be dispatched on the same day.

  2. Australia Post is our preferred delivery service.  We offer a range of delivery options including free shipping, standard (tracked) or express post (tracked) services.  You can choose your preferred shipping method upon check-out.  Our free shipping does not include tracking.  We highly recommend all customers choose a tracked shipping method, as we cannot control what happens to your package once it’s in the hands of Australia Post.

  3. By choosing our free (untracked) delivery option, you accept liability in the event of delivery delays or non-delivery.  We will, however, do our best to resolve any delays or non-delivery issues with Australia Post on your behalf.  We manage delivery issues on a case by case basis and will work with you to ensure your products reach you in the quickest and most efficient way.  Enquiries relating to deliveries should be emailed to shop@econo.com.au.

  4. If you are purchasing via a sales platform such as eBay or Amazon, please note that we have no control over their estimated delivery dates.  Delivery dates are set by the sales platform, not us, and may not be accurate.  If you have concerns about inaccurate delivery estimates please contact the help desk of the sales platform concerned.

  5. You are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information for your order.  We cannot accept responsibility for delivery delays or non-delivery due to incomplete or incorrect delivery information provided by the customer.

  6. From time to time we may offer promotions on deliveries (for example, free delivery on your first order, or free express delivery on orders over a certain value).  We reserve our right to modify promotions from time to time, without notice and under our absolute discretion.

  7. COVID 19 DELIVERY DELAYS:  All shipping providers are currently experiencing challenges due to the current Coronavirus restrictions and increased demand for their services.  Australia Post has officially notified customers that they are experiencing extended delays with deliveries.  You can read their latest update here or on the Australia Post.   

  8. Econo has no control over any service issues (including delays or non-deliver) our shipping providers experience.

RETURNS

We accept returns on products*, provided they meet the following return requirements:  

  1. All returns must be initiated within 14 days of receipt.

  2. All returns must be received in the same condition as they were when they were delivered, unused and unopened with packaging clean and intact with no broken/opened seals.

  3. Return shipping is at the customer’s expense unless the product was received damaged or incorrect item was delivered.  We strongly advise returning your order with tracking as we do not accept responsibility for items that go missing in transit.

  4. We will process all returns within 7 days of receiving the item.  The refund amount can take 5-7 days to be received, depending on your bank. 

  5. Please note we do not refund delivery costs.  Your refund amount will exclude the actual shipping costs paid to the shipper, by Econo, to deliver your order to you. 

  6. *Change of mind returns are not available for razors, blades, cutlery, straws or food containers.

 

Damaged or Incorrect Delivery

If your item is damaged/faulty or you believe the product is incorrect in some way, please contact us immediately at shop@econo.com.au and we will arrange a replacement or refund.

No refunds are provided for natural wear and tear or for damage caused post receipt.

 

Not Fit For Purpose

We cannot accept returns for a product you use that you have sensitivities to or are allergic to.  We include a full list of materials used in our products on our product page.  Customer discretion is advised if you are sensitive to certain materials.
